2021 Local President

JCI is a non profit global organization works with youths aged 18 to 40 for the advancement of the global community by providing the opportunity for young people to develop the leadership skill, social responsibility, fellowship and entrepreneurship necessary to create positive changes. JCI works with focusing the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. Me as a local president of JCI Dhaka Aspire, guiding my team to build teamwork and leadership traits in a vision to change the life of underprivileged society by providing and supporting the sustainable goal. We have run a project called “Serving the Orphan”, which protects the food is getting wasted in current process and the orphans are not getting lesser amount of food. As such, if the orphans are provided with plates for having the meal, they will have the exact amount of meal which has been intended to be provided. As a result, the food will not be wasted and the orphans will not suffer from hunger by having appropriate amount of meal.

1st Project

JCI Dhaka Aspire is an international youth non-profit organization recently hosted phase-1 of project “Serving the Orphans” among various orphanage and hostels of the hilly tracks of Khagrachori districts. 

This project is an initiative to create awareness to build a healthy eco-system and to reduce the plastic wastage that arises from using the one-time low-quality plastic plates and accessories for consuming and carrying the food among the students and stuffs of the orphanage.Local President of JCI Dhaka Aspire M. Kamrul Islam Chowdhury distributed 1,000 reusable and durable plastic plates among the students and staffs of the 5 orphanages in Khagrachori District. This project is a part of a series of implementation phase. Later on, more plates are under planning of Distribution in the various orphanage, hostels and slums of the City of Dhaka and Chittagong.

2nd project

Event 1: Kichhuta Hashi Fotate “কিছুটা হাসি ফোটাতে” 

Date: Saturday, 08 May 2021 

An Iftar Event for 350 orphans organized by JCI Dhaka Aspire during Ramadan 2021!!! JCI Dhaka Aspire dreams to serve the society on a continuous basis. As part of that dream, we are initiating the iftar event as mentioned above on Saturday, 08 May 2021 at 4.30pm BST and will be distributing three hundred and fifty (350) boxes of Iftar meals to the orphans of the selected area. We express our gratitude to our members and board members for their enormous effort and kind contribution in the event.

Event 2: গৃহহীনপথ যোদ্ধার পাশে

Seheri Distribution among 250 homeless and slum people by JCI Dhaka Aspire during Ramadan 2021!!! 

JCI Dhaka Aspire hosted another event in the Holy month of Ramadan of 2021. The title of that event is “গৃহহীনপথ যোদ্ধার পাশে “. At this event, we distributed Sehri/Sahoor to 250 afflicted homeless and slum people as they rarely get quality food at this critical time due to the Covid-19 worldwide situation. We tried to provide a healthy meal for Sehri to the homeless and slum people inside and outside Bashundhara R/A and airport railway station and some other places.
