1st project

JCI Dhaka Uptown has successfully implemented their first project of the year “Orphan Aid Project 2021”. The project was based in Narayanganj district in Sonargaon at the JCI Village. As a part of this project initiative, the organization has been working for last few months trying to identify orphans in that project area, pre-screening them, counseling them, and help them find a lodging in a local orphanage in the JCI Village at Baradi union. On this very day 13th April 2021, the organization has also handed over a library of books, Computer , Tree Plantation and conducted COVID19 health camps, and donated food items for these 114 orphans.Rezwanur Rahnan, Senator and the Local President of JCI Dhaka Uptown said, “We are thrilled to be able to assist an underprivileged group in overcoming their obstacles of life by rehabilitating them.” He also added, “These orphans’ lives will be transformed for good. 2nd project

‘MEET THE LEADERS’:This was a Visionary event where leaders from different sectors came together for the people and its community of JCI to demonstrate their experiences, Hard work, Dedication, Achievements & Leadership in their Professional Sector. Bypassing the knowledge, the members of JCI Bangladesh will get real-life experience of the personnel Also, past leaders of JCI Bangladesh will share their journey during their tenure of leadership in JCI. The main purpose of this event was to let the youth and the community of JCI know how JCI works and how important the active citizen framework is for its society. The occasion was embraced as the CHIEF GUEST by Dr. Md. Enamur Rahman, MP, Honorable State Minister, Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief who shared his observation regarding the works and the initiative that he is taken for the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The Guest of Honur of this event was 2021 National President JCI Bangladesh Senator Niaz Morshed Elite

3rd project

JCI Dhaka Uptown took an initiative which is jointly collaborated with ‘The Help Project’ and the objective of this project is to distribute 5000 Sanitary Pads to the needy ones by raising a large amount of funds for the underprivileged people and thus Project Komol ‘ কমল ‘ has been established to help them through various menstrual hygiene workshops, hygiene awareness campaign and Sanitary Pads Distribution for underprivileged ladies by Pee Safe Bangladesh and educating them as much as possible on the insights of Menstrual Hygiene. The females and transgenders will be supported for three months with the following campaigns. Let us all step forward and contribute to them. Each and every penny of the fund will be used in their own development through this project.
