1st project
Idea to Start up is a RISE project initiated to encourage local entrepreneur development and engage students, fresh grad to come up with unique ideas instead of sitting idle during pandemic. We received 220+ ideas along with 300+ participants among whom we selected 3 best ideas to award them with financial support to motivate them to roll on their ideas into practical world. Miaki Media sponsored this project along with Nokkhotro, Odommo Prokash, Bangladesh Positive Foundation. The project was Led by JCI Dhaka West valuable member Nazib Rafe Duke and Mentoring by 2021 EVP Md. Altamis Nabil.
2nd project
JCI Dhaka West is planning for open a 24/7 emergency support team who will take responsibility to meet the emergency demand of ambulance, oxygen cylinder among Dhaka, Gazipur, Narayanganj (our future focus countrywide). Fast response & mitigate suffering of covid patience looking for oxygen & ambulance as much as possible. Till the date October we have supported 200+ peoples with necessary medical support free of cost. Our team along with kind hearted sponsors support our cause. This project was led by our General Member Iqbal Hossain, mentoring by 2021 GLC Nur Mohammad Ali, JCI Dhaka West.
3rd project
IDP, Inclusive Dream Project took first step with the students of BAF Shaheen English Medium College and Down Syndrome Society of Bangladesh. If there is a change required, it is always the way we think. With the hope of an inclusive future, JCI Dhaka West worked with the future, CHILDREN. Linking mainstream and children with down syndrome, kids have participated in awareness session and wrote essays on “Together we will shine” portraying a society that will include everyone. JCI Dhaka West recognizing their good intention honored them with certificate of participation and exciting gifts. This project was initiated by Kazi Farhana, Local Treasurer 2021, JCI Dhaka West.
