1st project

Reader’s Game 1.0 (RISE PROJECT) Reader’s Game is designed to address one specific problem – the loss of interest for book reading among the young generation especially due to pandemic. Dependencies on digital devices has long been a problem, which deteriorated further during this global pandemic. Book Distribution Partner: Rokomari.com Judge: Famous book writer Sadat Hossain. Final Exam and Prize Ceremony: To be held on October 2021 Project Area: All over Bangladesh Number of participants: 150 Project Lead: S M Muqtadirul Huq Impact: Reader’s Game was initiated keeping in mind the decreasing reading habit among the young generation. The 150 participants were definitely benefitted by going back to books during this uncertain time of the pandemic.

2nd project

Project Shopnopuron Background: In the month of Ramadan, people give a portion of their wealth in the form of Zakat to the underprivileged inhabitants of the society. Project Shopnopuron was initiated keeping this idea in mind and raised fund and ensured the proper distribution among the needy. Objective: By collecting zakaat fund from the friends and families of JCI members, we chose to make at least 9 families financially stable by purchasing vans for them. Due to pandemic, these chosen families have lost their incomes and their means to survive. Therefore by donating the vans from JCI Dhaka Young we wanted to ensure a steady income for the whole family. Collected Fund: BDT 1,74,720.00 Project Area: Dhaka & Rupganj Number of Beneficiaries: 9 Project Lead: S M Muqtadirul Huq 2021 Local Vice President

3rd project

Manush Manusher Jonno -2 Manush Manusher Jonno -1 was a successful project in 2020. This was started as means to ensure that basic necessities were given to prostitutes who were unable to find any source of income when the pandemic hit the country. Objective: Our main objective is to provide food and basic necessities to deprived sex workers in Doulatdia who have suffered during pandemic and still continue to suffer. We want to continue our project from last year 2020 and wish to ensure that basic necessities are being provided to sex workers during this pandemic. Source of Fund: Fund raising by different community, campaigning by Facebook. Modalities: For income source we are planning following this items to give: – Rice- – Oil- – Pulse (Dal)- – Moida – Suji – Sugar
